Session 14 Announcement

Ok, September 1st is as good a day as any Smiley

Start Date : September 1st, 2009
End Date : September 15th, 2009

Theme : Cancel the Bullets

I think bullet canceling can add a lot to a shmup's gameplay. However it is sad to see it seldom applied in freeware and homebrew games. So let's experiment with the possibilities of this feature.

Now that I'm back from Taiwan, expect Session 14 soon... Edge has provided a good theme so stay tuned.

Haha. That is what happens when a bunch of shmup programmers are left waiting for the next session theme for a long time Tongue Tongue

Anyway, can't wait for the theme to be announced!

Same here.  I even got my game engine working again for the occasion.  Smiley
(Box2D made some major changes recently, so it took some doing...)

Depending on theme, I might or might not use this as an excuse to test Horde3D a bit. Looks like cool and user-friendly engine.
