SpaceGate retro vertical shmup

My game Space Gate has been released at Odo Games.  I am also the programmer of Sinister Corridors (I work with Bones), SC is also on this site.

So here is SpaceGate:

Play Space Gate at Odo Games.

You can also play it at Newgrounds.

I hope you enjoy all my hard work, it's been worth it anyway but it would be an added bonus to think that people here will like it.

Thanks, and enjoy!

Note: there is a bug fix pending which will attend to the hitbox offset, which currently is bisaed to one side - an erro rtha tis not intentional.

With the monochrome graphics, it's a bit easy to lose track of the player ship.  The collision box on the player may be a bit large as well, since it seemed very easy to get hit.

Re: SpaceGate retro vertical shmup

I really like the overall style. Yes, as kdmiller3 said it is sometimes a bit hard to follow due to the monochrome graphics, but I didn't find that annoying, since it's compensated by the health-bar and a good amount of extra lifes.
Only real criticism from me:
I had the impression that the collision control was a bit inexact with diagonal boss bullets (those short lines, especially the ones going left/down), hitting you though it should not.
Nice little casual game!
