SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

The game should work on the following PCs.  If the game does not work on a judges' computer, the judge will give it a 0 and that will affect the game's score average!

AMD Athlon XP 2500+
1.83 GZ, 1.00GB of DDR RAM
NVIDIA 6800 GT (256 mb)

Tim's Computer

AMD Athlon XP 2000+
1.66 GZ, 512MB of DDR RAM
RADEON 9600XT (256mb)

Charlie's Computer
Win XP home
P4 3ghz
512mb ram
NVIDIA GeForce 6800 GX 128MB PCI Express

Re: SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

Hi,

my PC specs are:

Win XP home
P4 3ghz
512mb ram
NVIDIA GeForce 6800 GX 128MB PCI Express

And my Mac is:

2Ghz G5
OS X 10.4.3
1.5gb ram
ATI Radeon 9600 128mb

I've got access to a number of other PCs as well, so it'll be really unlucky if i can't get your game to run.

Cheers
Charlie

Is that Radeon a 9600 pro?

Re: SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

Don't think so. But it ran Xain and Prototype Mk I well enough, plus if it doesn't work I can always try it on another PC. Smiley

Any differences between the two?

Re: SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

Yeah, some supported extensions.
This time around I'm doing a bit more on the graphical front but it doesnt matter, I'll just have to use two different paths to accomodate.
The 9600 will be my min spec on this one.

Re: SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

Can I assume the judges will have up-to-date video drivers?

Sorry for being so clueless, but why is the 9600 a problem? I'd like to know. Huh?

Might as well get it sorted out before the compo ends, so if a new GPU is required Matt will probably supply us with some. Grin

Not a big problem, but its always a pain coding for ati cards Smiley I'm also a bit concerned of the pixel shader performance, but I guess that is just a matter of adding the support for lower quality shaders.

Re: SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

We'll try and get it running on our side even if we have to use another computer, but best to get it working on as many cards as possible since everyone on this board should be able to play them. Smiley

My suggestion is to post your entry sometime in December for beta testing and also to work out the bugs. There are many of us eager to try the games out. Grin
